How did Swiss Finance equip you with the skills that you needed to find a job in the industry of your choice?

Because of Swiss Finance I now think like someone who works in finance. This is such a profound change, it is difficult to describe. My friends back home have commented that I act more confident, that I walk into a room as if I own it. When I’m commuting I read the financial news and understand it, not just pretend to. The way I see the world is slightly different, like I appreciate time management and my days are filled with things I know I should be doing, rather than sleeping. All of this is changing me slowly and I know that will be portrayed to the companies I interview at.

What is a pari-passu concept? Yesterday I didn’t know, but today I do. Other things I didn’t know yesterday but do now are the different kinds of mergers and acquisitions, different ways to restructure a corporation, macro and micro-economic reasons behind takeover activity, the stages of a successful acquisition, the financial aspects of a merger or an acquisition, and (this may also be the most important) how to answer those really tough interview questions.
